Our team of coaches has a wide variety of backgrounds and includes licensed social workers, family therapists, life coaches and more. We pair you with the coach that we believe would be best for you after speaking in-depth about your needs.
Freshmen transition, overwhelming anxiety / stress, difficulties meeting others or socializing, roommate issues, communication / advocating to a professor..etc.
In general, we serve students that are at least 16 years old. This includes high school students away at private boarding schools as well as college students and beyond. That being said, if you don’t fit into that age range, you can always feel free to reach out to us – we’re happy to discuss an option that works for everyone.
As of today, health insurance does not cover online coaching, however health savings accounts can be used for payment purposes.
No. Students can start at any point during the year – whenever you’re ready.
Absolutely. You can see a counselor or coach for as many meetings as you feel would be helpful. Our coaches will also make recommendations as to how often and how long help would be suggested.
We completely understand the importance of family meetings, and are absolutely willing to accommodate when needed. These additional meetings can be done by request and agreement of student and family, and are invoiced as an extra charge to be agreed upon with the family prior to each session.
Tablets, laptops and desktops with functioning cameras work best. All of our sessions are video sessions so we can see you just like we would in person. Phones can be used, but need to be secured in a holder to prevent the screen from shaking.
Yes, we do accommodate students outside of the United States and continue to see students during study abroad semesters as needed.
Yes. In fact, we have several counselors and coaches that have been college athletes themselves and work with student athletes frequently.
No, not all students are the perfect fit for us. We always complete a phone intake process to pre-screen students and determine if the current situation and environment is appropriate for online sessions. If we don’t think it’s the best time to see us, we will set you up with resources to find the perfect fit for you.
